Born and Raised in the Bronx; Kid Coolout, bka Kid
Former background dancer for Salt N Pepa (As seen in the Shake your thang video)
Famous for his iconic “Hightop Fade” and being a member of the Hip Hop Duo Kid n Play (Formally the Fresh Force Crew)
He wrote the majority of the lyrics for the group’s three albums and had at least the second illest flat top in the game (BDK)
Kid with Play had a Cartoon, a Marvel comic, and after the group disbanded he hosted the Apollo and performed standup as well as releasing a couple of singles
(And sang on Grand Puba’s “Little of this” from the 200 LP)
Kid was also the comedic relief in the group on the mic and in the movies that they did together (House Party, House Party 2, House Party 3, and Class Act)
and dont forget the classic Kid n Play “Kick Step”
