90s Music: Rude Boys v. Lo-Key?

The early 90s was a great time for R&B, I have music on my mind so I wanted to talk music right quick … 2 groups, 2 songs head to head lets have at it shall we?

Lo-Key? is an underrated Funk group, maybe because they only had one single that people know but they were kinda dope.
5 Member Group from Kansas City and Minneapolis dropped “I got a Thang 4 Ya” in 1993

The Rude Boys are a R&B Group from Cleveland Ohio, they are known for their second released single “Written All Over Your Face” which dropped in 1990

For the most part both groups are forgotten about; I heard both of these songs recently and wanted to shine a light on them

Song for Song – Written All Over Your Face and Girl I got A Thang 4 Ya … which makes you move more?

Which is the better Song?

Which is the better video?

Both songs; still have those cassettes at my mom’s crib, lol. Have to say “Written All Over Your Face” by the Rude Boys. They had the Gerald LeVert association…but Lo Key had that awesome line “my lemon drop, my lollipopp, oh girl that must be yo’ name” lol
