I have to admit even I succumb to this hypocritical behavior. We can’t stand the fact that we need people’s attention. We want people to pay attention to us, but we don’t want them to know we need it. I believe we get mad at ourselves for being so needy. I’m learning to be more comfortable with the fact that I’m miserable when no one notices me
