A safety pin and a towel could make you superman
-Man! I know have a visual of your grown azz, with a colorful bath towel pinned around your neck. LMAO!

It was acceptable to tuck jeans in your boots
-When was it acceptable for guys to do this? *scratches head*

Your Bike was the ish Tennis balls in the wheels
    -Kids actually did that?

We should have known from day one that Johnny was not quite right.

    The Lakers was my Squad
-What you know about the Lakers from back in the day? That was MY squad!

I still will rock some Nike Cortez.

Man I don’t care to see another scantron EVER again!

Flavor Aid was that fake ish…never had a drink
-Glad to know I am not the only person that has never tasted flavor-aid. What was the point, Kool-Aide was only like 5 cents more.

  • Ms. Lee

Flavor Aid was bootleg and bypassed!

TV sure did go off and those colorful blocks came up.

Drakkar Noir. Talk about a throwback. They still sell it in CVS!

I remember Drakkar was this ish back in the day and so was Polo.

Jennifer Beals had me cutting the neck out of all of my sweatshirts so I could look like that.

You make me miss Saturday Morning Cartoons… I Hanker for a Hunk of Cheese too!

    Standardized test?? Yuck!

I’ve never had the bootleg Kool-Aid.

I remember being the first in the hood to HAVE cable IN IOWA! In Iowa we only have three channels and NO public access channel. Regular dude had to ACTUALLY turn the knob and the twisting-mcBobb to tune it n real good. Man, we were one of the first to have a remote control and cable. I was da stuff….was the victim of plenty of Hateration…but they always wanted to come over to Hang out!

No MTV for you—- Idiots! Kiss my CornBread Nappy Headed Nerd ASK!

    Love you E!

what…your a flavor-aid hater??? look I can afford kool-aid back then and still can but flavor-aid is like kool-aid on crack…. maybe I the only one who thinks you just don’t know what your missing…

you get kool-aid for the kiwi-strawberry and fancy smancy flavors..but if you want something like grape that packs a sugar punch…trust me flavor aid was the choice…we use to buy from both of them….lol

…I miss the video music channel “the box”…. hell we’d watch that channel for hours and talk my momma into letting us buy some videos,…

or what about highlights, those children magazines you read…I seen on in the doctors office …I’m so sure it was from 1985…lol

I still love baked beans and hot dogs, but know better about how often I can eat them. I would def rock a pair of Nike Cortez and these kids could use an after school special or two. Ahh the good ole days…

Oh and I rememeber “The Box” (channel 65 on Wade Cablevision)! One of the first videos I ever saw was Anqenette “I Will Always Be There For You” lol.
