Officially I’m only buying food to cook on the day that I’m cooking
-This is what I always do, but it’s a headache, and sometimes deters me from cooking because I don’t feel like going to the store.

I used some Cocoa Butter again…Smells so good going on….then I get that after smell; I think it’s my Pheromones or somefin
-Probably…I have heard other people say this. It smells great on me!

I use liquid soap/Body wash…haven’t used bar soap in at least a decade
-I just switched back to dove white bar soap…I get a better lather and it softens my skin.

Who makes socks other than Hanes?
-Danskin, that’s what I buy, lol.

People treat Cheese like it’s a Condiment
-Cheese is a condiment in my world…the best condiment to put on fries, yum!

This is probably the best approach since people can sense desperation. It’s hard not to look for something that you have a need for, though. If you’re starving you’re gonna look for food, you won’t be able to think about anything else. Sometimes it’s okay to admit you’re looking. You’ll be surprised how many other people are looking, too.

That’s the way food is supposed to be consumed and that’s how the French & Italians do it in Europe. They have huge outdoor markets overflowing with the freshest fruits, fish, breads, veggies. Unmatched by our farmers markets.

Once you’ve had the New York experience I think everything else will pale in comparison. There’s just so much of everything there. I’ve never seen so many educated, upscale, got it goin on black people. Even bums on the street are articulate, well read, and aware. Don’t be fooled by the grittiness and dirtiness of the streets & neighborhoods, NY is old and over populated. Inside that hole in the wall with the dog poo on the sidewalk & smelly garbage by the front door, live wealthy commodities traders, socialites, the Olsen Twins, Derrick Jeter. Behind that rusty, non-descript metal door with the grafiti all over it is a discrete spa where celebs go to get waxed in peace. That ratty looking girl you always see sifting through the dumpsters is actually an eccentric, highly regarded concert violinist. That’s the beauty of NY- you can’t judge. People have so many talents that are not even apparent. I’m moving to Brooklyn myself. A black paradise!! Also NY has tons of single women, the ration is like 10 to 1. You will find the most banging sisters there. Have fun, my brother. These dime pieces don’t come easy, though. You will have to work for them.

I was into the body washes for years, too. I got tired of bar soap shriveling into somethin un-useable. Now I use Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap. It tingles and makes me feel so clean

Yeah, I often visualize being anonymous in Paris, sipping tea in an outdoor cafe, strolling cobblestone streets holding my sweetie, taking the Metro to London to catch a live soul act with truly talented musicians.

It poured all day yesterday & I felt like shit. I volunteer delivering free meals to sick people & yesterday I had to keep jumping out of the van. The rain just wouldn’t let up. I was some kinda miserable. I had on a plastic cap and my hair still got wet. Came home & got right in the bed

“Next two movies I want to see: Talk To me”
I absolutely loved Talk To Me, I saw it twice at $11 a pop. Trust me, I’m not the type to pay to see a movie twice. The audience was cracking up all the way through. Don Cheadle is a genius and so under rated. Most of the time at the movies I’m squirming in my seat waiting for it to be over, this is one of the rare movies that I did not want to see end. What a rollicking good time!

Here’s a tip from a girl’s perspective. Not saying you do this, but if a guy looks like he wants me too badly I’m turned off. It’s most intriguing when he shows mild interest then turns away, moves on. This shows he doesn’t need me, has much going on for himself. Then I’m left thinking about him, wishing he’d look my way again. If I’m that attracted I may even get up and put myself in his line of sight. I’ll stand in a way that shows off my assets, but always subtly & with good taste. Pay attention to these slight clues, most women are indirect, we don’t want to be rejected, either. We’ll give hints that we expect the guy to pick up on, we give openers for him to feel free to approach. If he doesn’t our feelings are not hurt because we didn’t make an ass of ourselves by coming on strong. If I’m interested in a guy it will be obvious, he doesn’t have to bore into my eyes and try to read my soul. That will only creep me out & anger me
