Me, too. There are so many music and film fests. Go to soulofamerica.com, it’s all about black travel & events. They even list black cruises. I’m not affiliated w/them so don’t think I’m plugging it. They just did their research, even internationally.

People would like you to think you don’t matter because that’s how they feel about themselves. Sometimes I’m surprised by how much people think about me & try to figure my life out. I wonder why they care about me so much when I don’t care half as much about them. I know I matter just based on the number of people who can’t stop talking about me. I’m not narcissistic at all, I just wish other people had more going for themselves. Believe me, you matter.

You’d be surprised the things that people envy. What is nothing to you because you possess it, is the very thing someone else wish they had. It could be as small as a sense of humor, nice smile, a friendship with a certain female. Even if you were destitute & on the street somebody would be jealous of you. They might be jealous that you didn’t allow your spirit to be broken.

Of course, you like hearing gossip. It’s a guilty pleasure. When you hear somebody talking about someone else, how can you turn away? I think it’s bad when you use gossip to hurt someone. Some people have the intention to bring another down, get them fired, take their man, make their life miserable. That’s negative karma

It’s hard to be around someone you don’t like. I’m the same way, I won’t get into an argument or roll my eyes, I’ll just keep my distance. Love is what brings people together, it is an attractive force. Without love there is not much motivation for people to come together. So, when love/liking is absent, what’s the point? What’s the point of being in a relationship with someone you don’t even like? For me, it’s not possible. I’m not drawn to them
