LOL@ the letter opener…..that is interesting. Time I get a letter or any envelope for that matter…..I either find a small opening off to the side of the thing and weasel my nail across. Half the time without thinking about it. I bet there could be 4 letter openers setting right in front of me and I still would open it with the nail.

I do agree black comics have pretty much narrowed down the topics in their routines. Even ones who were mad funny back in the day. A good main portion of the routine is either sex, going to the club to meet someone to have sex, sex while married, sex while single, starving for sex and making fun of folks who come up short during sex. The black/white comparison shows only when the comic is drying out with the jokes their on stage for or they start out like that, mostly pickin somebody from the audience.

I agree with the comment above…George Lopez is a breath of fresh air when it comes to jokes. He at least mixes it up a bit on that newest HBO special. That mess had me dyin.

Amy Winehouse is not what’s up in the image department. She is a skinny white woman that looks like a malnourished dragon with missing teeth. Some folks are better to be heard and not seen. If she chose to be reclusive and put out songs but not perform them during this phase/look….then I’m alright by that!

Halle Berry has her own thing going on. I think it’s sad though. The media is just ….*sigh*…. they left Halle alone. They used to photograph her buying groceries, with her man, at premieres or taking a dump. Now, we see Britney spears with unflattering wigs from her “I’m crazy” pattern baldness and Paris Hilton all over the news.
